Angela's Cafe, first time

Arrived at 6:30 last night and we had the small diningroom to ourselves for about 15 minutes but then 2 other parties arrived. Angela's son was very friendly and helpful, taking a lot of time to describe everything. First they started us off with a complimentary bowl of homemade tortilla chips with 2 dips, one spicy (green) and one more like a thin salsa. For appetizers and entrees we went with Angela's sons recs, we had a poblano something appetizer that was delicious, made with peppers and onions. We also had a tostada appetizer with shredded beef that was also very good. For entrees we shared Cilantro Shrimp which was about 7 medium size shrimp with rice, also very good. The only disappointment was the Chicken Mole, maybe it was just us but we weren't wild about the Mole sauce and the chicken breast was very dry. I have a feeling that the chicken was already cooked and was reheated because it came out about 10 minutes after we ordered and unless you saute over very high heat, it's near impossible to cook a chicken breast that fast. All and all, very tasty and a good value, I believe total bill came to around $40.
