Chilling in Dolors Park yesterday sipping chapagne in celebrating of my buddy's birthday when a nice French dude walks by with two tupperware containers and a sign: "Amuse Bouche." Of course I had to inquire what sort of deliciousness he was selling... Oftentimes in DP people selling treats are often of the dosed variety. But these were just straight up edibles. He had mini brocoli quiches and mini pear-coconut tarts for $3. I settled on a pear-coconut tart. It was superb. Crubmly crust, rich gooey filling. So good that I bought another immediately and gave it to my buddy. Only in San Francisco. We are blessed to have such amazing culinary treats delivered right to our bouches while soaking in the sunshine.
