Amazon dynamic pricing on Paderno GG

Hawashingtonian | Dec 12, 201809:33 AM     24

Over the past couple of weeks, I noticed that the Amazon pricing for the Paderno World Cuisine Grand Gourmet saute pans is following an interesting pattern. I saw the 4 1/2 qt one on sale last week for $43.99, which was out of line with the other sizes (they were more expensive). There were 2 in stock. Two minutes after I bought it, the price jumped back to $170, with 1 in stock. Since I bought it, the price has repeatedly dropped and is currently at $95. It looks like the prices of these saute pans, and possibly their other pieces, drops over time and resets when one is bought. Some other sizes are currently very cheap.

The pan itself came poorly wrapped (cardboard shipping box, bubble wrap, and packing tape) but in good condition. I needed some goo-gone to clean off glue from the stickers and tape, and used some sandpaper to smooth the bottom, but I've been happy with the pan so far.
