Guys, I've lined up the chips for this, and am giggling demonically at the almost unbelievableness of it all. I don't want to give away the surprises, but: trust me, this will be the best and most interesting chip tasting ever. We will crunch things few mere mortals have ever crunched. Pure chip gold. I'm very very psyched, and hope you can stop by. All attendees have a better than 1-in-70 chance of winning a free iPod!
Ok, roll the hypey blurb:
Drop by Tekserve (119 W. 37th b/w 6th & 7th) on Saturday, July 9th between 2pm-4pm for a free tasting of some amazing and totally obscure potato chips and colas, courtesy of Chowhound, New York City's web haven for those who live to eat. Jim Leff, Chowhound's alpha hound, will be on hand to lead the tasting, answer all your chow-related questions, and sign new copies of "The Chowhound's Guide to the New York Tristate Area", just published by Penguin, and available at Tekserve for just $15. As an added bonus, Tekserve will also be raffling off three 1GB iPod shuffles to attendees. Only 200 tickets will be available for the tasting and raffle - on a first come, first serve basis - so don't be late!
