We had a great meal on a first visit to Allumette this weekend. Creative and really delicious.
One of the main reasons we went was to try a dish they were out of :(
SZECHUAN PORK DUMPLINGS – Ikura – Maple Black Vinegar – Tarragon
So, we went with these:
POTATO CHIPS – Fresh Salmon Roe – Yuzu Crème Fraîche – Garlic Chive
TOMATO SALAD – Soft Egg – Black Olive – Roasted Shallot Brioche
ANKIMO – Umeboshi Ponzu – Sea Grapes – Momokochan
KING SALMON SASHIMI – Grapes – Radish – Cilantro
SPICY BLUE PRAWNS – Pork Belly – White Peach – Pickled Wasabi
All were excellent. We love spicy and were blown away (in a good way) by the heat level of those prawns.
