Alain Ducasse, Sono, Guastavino's

Going to Ducasse on Monday - will report back - in the meantime, has anyone reading this board been to his new place? (Looking for recommendations on what to order.)

Surprised no one has mentioned Sono Restaurant here - my favorite in NY at this time, and have been to all the 'biggies' recently... Surprised Sono isn't getting more press.

Guastavino's is also just amazing for the decor/ambiance. If you go, go to 'Club' Guastavino, which is the restaurant on the 2nd floor, and request a table by the balcony. You'll walk up a sprawling marble staircase, and overlook the bar - great people-watching. Solid food, too, but clueless service.
