Aji - Excellent Noodle bar in London centre
My husband and I found an excellent Japanese canteen noodle bar in London next to Westminster bridge. Scrummy food at a very reasonable price in the centre of London.....what a find!!
It is called - Aji - and is inspired by the Ramen bars found in Japan. It is very canteen like but the food we had was delicious and the service excellent. You can view the chefs through glass the length of the kitchen cooking your food, the place was very clean, (and so were the toilets!)
I had katsu chicken which was fried chicken in breadcrumbs on a curry sauce (very mild & flavoursome) served with white rice mixed leaves & pickles £6.65 and my husband had the katsu pork, again only £6.95 served with rice, mixed leaves & pickles. Washed down with Jasmin tea only £1 per person with unlimited refils!
They also serve 3 types of soup noodles, Yakisoba (stir fried noodles), vegetarian dishes and sides including sushi as well as saki and chu-hi (Japanese alco pop)
Open from Monday to Saturday 12:00 - 23:00 and Sunday 12:00 - 22:00
We were served by Julia who was just lovely, so say hi to her if you go there.
We will definately go back there!
