Am in Rome in a couple of weeks and need to choose between Agato e Romeo and Il Convivio. Already got Le Terazza and Pergola booked and would appreciate thoughts on the relative merits of Agato e Romeo and Il Convivio. From what I gather Agato e Romeo is possibly better but more creative and therefore more of a risk, whilst Il Convivio, although also creative by Italian standards, is more consistent. Is this true? Any recent experiences? All thoughts and advice very gratefully recieved. I do not care too much about price or how much I need to dress for the place, but atmosphere is important to me - so if either of these places has very rude or patronising waiters - it would be great to know. Thanks!
