African restaurants in SF?

westadgirl | May 17, 200501:17 PM     7

My friend is going to Kenya for 2 years with the Peace Corps, and we'd like to send her off with a nice meal at an African place with decadent cuisine to either: 1) get her in the mood for her journey, or 2) have a taste of all the stuff that is likely to fancy to be accessible there (I have no clue what the food accessibility will be like there).

A place to drink at/be entertained afterwards is nice too.

I've seen mention of/eaten at:
-Salem (Haight)
-Bissap Baobab (Mission)
-Little Baobab (related to Bissap Baobab - any preferences?)
-Axum Cafe (Haight, Polk Street)
-Eritrean Restaurant on Irving (Inner Sunset)
-Rassella's (Fillmore)
-Eritrean place on Geary (Inner Richmond)

Any ideas on awesome food? Thx!
