Good friends who have been through hell and living in the third world are now back in the US and will be staying in Bethesda. I want to give them a reason to go out, relax, leave the kids at home and forget about life for a few hours, in the form of a gift certificate for about $125. That doesn't have to pay the bill, just get them there.
There is loads of talk here about Maestro, Citronelle and CityZen and they sound fabulous. But I want them to go somewhere they can relax and unwind that is memorable as well, a place with great food but not necessarily a dress code. Can someone make a suggestion that is within a 30 or 45 minute drive from Bethesda or at least on the Bethesda side of DC?
