I'm getting a whole new kitchen and was thinking of getting a set of pots and pans to go with it. I was thinking 18/10 stainless steel but now I find out that stainless steel leaches stuff into the food. Does anybody have any other suggestions? Is any of that new fancy stuff that you see on TV any good?
Also knives. Am I buying the wrong knives or are they just sharper on TV. I see these knives that cut through paper. Do they really exist? I bought a knife that was supposed to be one of the sharpest ever and when I gave it the paper test all it did was push the paper away.
