I would like to make cranberry-orange infused vodka for the holidays and bottle it for gifts. But I would need to fly with the bottles half-way across the country. I know folks fly with wine in their checked baggage all the time and as long as it's packed well, there is no problem. But if I bottled the vodka myself how could I insure the bottles won't leak? Any one try this before? Or should I just give it up and do jarred mixes, spiced nuts or biscotti? Thanks for your help!
