Can I add pectin to a pectin-free jam recipe?

jne123 | Jul 4, 201503:24 PM     2

I was trying to find a recipe for black raspberry and jalapeño jam, (I have more berries than I know what to do with! Pie! Muffins! Berries with every meal! Yummy.), I found plenty of raspberry jalapeño jelly recipes but these berries are just so perfect juicing them and throwing away the pulp sounds horrible! (Already made fantastic plain berry jam) Anywayyy, I found a recipe but it doesn't call for any pectin, something I've not tried before, I would like to add it anyway just to make sure it will set, can I? How much? A tablespoon or two, or a whole box? Thoughts please! Thanks!

Oops. Here's the recipe:
