Alright, so my birthday is coming up and I've got some friends coming in from New York. All of the friends are meateaters except one, who is a faux vegetarian (he'll eat fish, but no chicken, beef, pork, etc.) Now then, I'd like to take everyone to a really great restaurant with a prix fixe menu (Spago, Sona, any other places you'd recommend) but I'm wondering how problematic it might be if one of the group will want a vegetarian prix fixe meal. Does that preclude us from getting any other kind of prix fixe meal? Most restaurants have a rule that the whole table has to get prix fixe, if I'm not mistaken.
Hope this isn't too loquacious. I'll break it down:
a) Will vegetarian friend prevent meat eater table from getting prix fixe menus?
b) Any recent prix fixe stories/suggestions? (I've scanned the below but, you know, the more recent the better, right?)
