Is there any Aburi Oshi sushi in SF Bay Area?

MilkEater | Jan 5, 201711:45 AM     3

I first sampled a variety of aburi oshi sushi (they are not nigiri but they aren't rolls either, call them bricks?) in Vancouver's Minami. Granted, it's not exactly traditional, but I loved it. Was so happy to find that they have a location in Toronto as well, where I lived.

Now I moved to the SF Bay Area, and was wondering if I can find something like this here. Yet any searches lead me only to Minami, and it does not look like they are expanding any further beyond their 3 Canadian locations.

Is there anything like this in SF, San Jose or close by? If not that, perhaps some other non-traditional but awesome Japanese restaurants.
