My in-laws are trying to organise a special lunch for an 85th birthday. The instructions I was given was to look for some sort of ‘’destination’’ restaurant, someplace with a nice cachet, a view, something slightly special. For example, the 80th was the brunch at the Mount Stephen club. So while I want good food, that’s not their #1 criteria. For example, Lemeac is not an interesting enough setting.
Any ideas? Maybe in Old Montreal? Or Griffintown would have something with a view?
