We are two DC chowhounds coming to Philly for work for 6 days. Boyfriend will be on an expense account, I will not. Staying at Loews.
We have reservations at Django, Buddakhan (still worth it?) and Alma de Cuba (not my choice). On a previous trip we ate at Pasion and Striped Bass.
We are curious about Bookbinders--is it worth a visit?
Also, is it possible to do the all you can eat dessert thing at Le Bec Fin without having an entire meal there? I am soooo looking forward to visiting Capogiro again.
What other places shouldn't we miss? These days I am less into the gigantic restaurant experience than just having a nice meal at a decent price so no LaCroix recs, thanks. Finally, where are places we wouldn't have too much trouble getting into without a reservation? We are will be spontaneously hooking up with people at the conference.
Thanks very much, Shelly
