Make my 40th Birthday Amazing!!! Looking for the wisdom of crowds!

OK here is the background information. I am a transplanted New Yorker who now lives in RI. Went to NYU and know my way around the city pretty well. I drop a little NYC about 3 to 4 times per year. I will be celebrating my 40th birthday in the city over a three days span, and would love to have fellow Chowhound foodies guide my culinary adventure.

You guys have steered me in the right direction in NYC X2 as well as recent trips to Grapevine, TX, Dallas, TX, Washington DC, and Savannah, GA.

Here is the framework please help me fill in the blanks.

Arrival 9-30-11

Lunch - ?

Dinner- ?

Dinner will be follwed either by a jamband type concert (big or small venue)

Saturday 10-1-11
Breakfast- Need to know the name of the most go to bagel place!

Dinner wil be followed by another band or jazz show

Sunday 10-2-11

Brunch- Needs to be good, affordable and have either live jazz and or live gospel.

Right now I have two places that will be plugged into two of the lunch or dinner slots (Jing Fong/Golden Unicorn and Mollys)

To give you a sense of what I am looking for, I love low key casual spots. You guys reccomended to Waterfront Grill last time I was in NYC and I loved it, went twice last summer. I also love Momfuko, but need something new. Went to the Salty Crab and loved it. Basically looking for places low to moderately priced with great food and good beer/drink recipes. Places with gimics like beer gardens, bocce courts, etc are welcome.

I plan on sending my itenerary to my friends so they can join me at various stops. So places that allow a couple of add on diners last minute would be great.

thanks in advance
