30th Birthday Party in Shreveport/Bossier

I'm hosting a 30th birthday party in Shreveport for my sister. It's a girls' weekend. I want to go to dinner one night with all the girls. There will be about 10 women in their late 20s early 30s and two grandmothers over 70. Half of us are traveling from New Orleans, and the other half are traveling from Texas.

Where should we go? I'm not picky as far as cuisine. If it's seafood, it should be good. No Mexican, as half of us live in Texas, and we can have Mexican any time. I'd also prefer a local restaurant, as the chains are available in all areas and are not special. It should be reasonably priced.

The restaurant will have a good atmosphere. It should be clean and quiet enough for us to hear each other talk. I would prefer something with a full bar, not a mom and pop with ice chests out back. If anyone has ever been to The Chimes in Baton Rouge - that would be perfect, but only in the Shreveport/Bossier area. It would be nice to have the option to stay for a while and have a few drinks before heading to the local bars/casinos. Please help!

Some restaurants, which have been suggested and I've decided against (unless you can persuade me otherwise), are:
Monjunis - too casual
The Olive Street Bistro - too formal (more of a date night restaurant, not a girls' night)
Superior - It would be perfect, but again - no Mexican
The Blind Tiger - Is this too much of a bar? Would grandparents feel out of place? The food has great reviews, but it looks like a dirty bar. :)
Gator's Seafood Grill - Is this too far from downtown/local bars/casino? The food has great reviews.
