Hi 'hounds...this is my first post on here, but I have utilized the discussion board to see if there's been any recent questions re: affordable group dinners.

I just moved back to Chicago this summer after being gone for a few years. I'm celebrating my 30th birthday in January and am looking for suggestions for a nice restaurant to have a 30th birthday dinner (there would be around 15-20 people attending). ~10 of those people are out of towners. Would you all recommend any of these places: Somerset, Aba, Gibson's Italia, Haisous, TWO, Avli Taverna, Aba, Galit? .I celebrated my 27th birthday at Irazu and it was amazing- we were able to have our own separate room and it was BYOB , so looking for something in that price range (if possible). I'd love an affordable prix fixe dinner like Irazu offered, but that's not make or break. I'm open to anything except Sushi. I'm thinking Margeaux Brasserie or Troquet for brunch. If you have any ideas for group brunches - feel free to share that as well.

Thanks so much for your help!
