I went to possibly the last SF Street Food Festival in the Mission and sampled a few different options via the $25 "Just Snacking" passport, which provided more than enough food.

If interested, here was Eater's rundown of the full menu of options that were available: http://sf.eater.com/archives/2014/08/...

Stones Throw's Puffed Potato and Egg

These were fantastic. I could have made a full meal out of them.

Stones Throw's Puffed Potato and Egg (Closer)

Here's a look at the eggy goodness on the inside.

Rice Paper Scissors' Vietnamese Iced Coffee & Fried Daikon Cake

A jolt of energy and a very fun breakfast.

Grilled Cheez Guy Nacho Grilled Cheese

The least healthy of our picks, it was pretty tasty, but we really should have limited ourselves to a single bite instead of this entire platter.

Kronnerburger's Kronnerburger

We were there pretty early, which meant we got one of the first burgers off the grill. Unfortunately they were sitting for a quite a while, which left them more than a little dry. I've heard great things in the past, but was underwhelmed.

Nombe's Ramenburger

The longest lines by far were for the ramenburger, which didn't amaze, but certainly looked pretty cool.

All in all, a very productive day, and we followed it up with a trip to nearby Trick Dog to test out their new cocktail menu. Chow covered it here: http://www.chow.com/food-news/153755/...
