$1.75 Sachertorte in chinatown

I had a slice of Sachertorte for only $ 1.75 at Fay Da
bakery ( mott&canal or the other locations, they are a chain ).
I must tell you that it's pretty good for the price.
Don't expect the one like Hotel Sacher or Demel- my favorite!- in Vienna, or cafe sabarsky in NY. but certainly better than let's say Hungarian pastry shop
-Amsterdam&111th- ( everything is pretty bad here except the savory potato roll.this one is good). or if I pay $5 for just ok sachertorte at cafe morzart-70th & b'way- (I like the coffee and other cakes here),
I'd go for Fay Da's $1.75.

Fay Da - mott&canal location- opens pretty late as chinatown bakeries, close around 9:30 pm.It's a good
dessert spot after chinatown dining.
