Can I Make Do on $15/day?

EvGribenes | Feb 20, 201910:57 AM     57

Hi Hounds,

I just moved to New York recently and based on how things are going with rent, uber, and other expenses I think I can pretty much only afford to spend about $15 a day on food. I know I can cook at home in a theoretical world where my kitchen is more than a hot plate and one shelf in the apartment fridge, and I know I can buy cup ramen, but is there a way to eat out for this much? Especially any suggestions around the East Village would be appreciated.
