I am fantasizing about 12" chef knives [punchlines here]. I don't have one, and will be trying some soon, but thought I'd ask the community-
are they useful enough to spend $100+? I bought a friend a Dexter Russell 12" wood handled knife for under $25 a few months ago. It seemed well worth it, but I should have bought 2! The price went up!
oh well. So I guess I should mention I am a big 75" tall and cook a lot, though not a pro.
