my dinner partner got the flu so i was in san gabriel with no plans so i checked out 101 by myself after all the activity on the board about it.
i think the ideal number of people would be at least 4 so you can taste a few things.
the niu rou duan (beef wrap) is indeed awesome and tastes great if you pan fry the leftovers, as im eating it right now writing this post. its actually more crisp than when originally served
didnt try the dumplings as i had shui jiao for lunch at my moms house already.
the dezhou paji was a little too stewed for my taste. meaning a little overcooked and stringy than is typical of chinese chicken dishes. i found it to be a bit on the salty side as well.
i'd love to try the sausage and some dumplings on a next visit when i can gather a small crew.
