Has anyone been here yet? My boyfriend and I went last weekend and were really excited because we love all of Frank's other restaurants. The decor is hip and very "downtown" but needless to say, that was the highpoint. Our waitress spent the majority of the time alternately flirting with the bartender, drinking V8, and biting her nails. The dishes were small to say the least. I ordered the chicken lettuce wrappers, and the filling came in a monkey dish and was made up mostly of carrots (i.e. cheap filler). The dumplings were 4 for $8 and I think all 4 of them combined would have equaled just one size dumpling at other Chinese restaurants. The pork ribs, while perfectly cooked, were super sweet; almost dessert like. And, at a cash-only establishment, there was sticker shock indeed when the check came.
Anybody else have any experiences here?
