I happened to be at the market yesterday doing my regular shopping amidst all the T-giving frenzied folks picking up their Heritage turkeys, loading up on potatoes, etc.
Needing a reprieve from T-giving focused food (somehow I feel like I've eaten 5 meals already), I strolled down the freezer section (very calm there) and stumbled upon small containers filled w/ beef, chicken, and veal liver. Even though they were mildly frozen, they looked perky and fresh so I snagged the veal liver (about an 8 oz. container).
Of course, I've never cooked or, for that matter, eaten veal liver before. Just wanted to experiment since it was merely a $2 investment. Did my basic recipe searches, but haven't found anything at my trusted sources.
So...does anyone out there have a simple but delicious recipe for these innards? Any suggestions on what to serve them with would also be appreciated. Thanks!
