“I fell in love with City Sip one rainy night in early February,” says lotta_cox. It’s sophisticated but neighborly, and the service and the wine are both above average. “The wine list is long and friendly, and you can buy the wines by the bottle to take home,” explains lotta_cox. “We told the awesome guy behind the counter what we like, and just let him pour us whatever he thought would work. He let us taste everything first, bien sûr, and gave us a beautiful tasty selection.”
The food is decent; cheese is your best bet, says lotta_cox, with a massive cheese menu that’s almost as large as the wine menu. There are some other good choices, though, including baby greens salad with blue cheese and apples, and nutty, well-textured duck pâté.
