A search for goi cuon (Vietnamese fresh rice-paper wraps) reveals a few new San Gabriel choices. hppzz sends us to Nem Nuong Ninh Hoa and Nem Nuong Khanh Hoa. “Just as good as Little Saigon and extremely cheap,” says hppzz. Nem Nuon Khanh Hoa is fantastic, concurs bsquared2. (The “nem nuong” in both names refers to a type of Vietnamese pork sausage, a popular filling for goi cuon.)

The perennial Vietnamese favorite in the San Gabriel Valley is Golden Deli, and goi cuon may be the best dish there, says ipsedixit.
