After a pie at DiFara Pizza, consider topping off with a cake at Isaac’s Bake Shop. This kosher bakery, right across the street from New York Chowhounds’ all-time favorite pizzeria, makes a superior babka, stuartlafonda reports. On his latest visit, it was a memorable thing: not the usual loaf-pan variety, but a ring of great gooey orbs of babkaliciousness. “It was awesome,” he sighs.
