In Japan, a Kit Kat candy bar is not necessarily just a wafer cookie covered with milk chocolate. Japanese Kit Kat flavors include green tea, chestnut, white peach, cantaloupe, and even cherry blossom. The flavors are more about novelty than great taste, says Orchid64. That said, Orchid64 recommends the brandy and orange Kit Kats if you happen to see them.

Miss Needle likes the chestnut flavor, finding that it tastes something like a hazelnut latte. chocabot appreciates the red bean flavor for not being too sweet, and says the strawberry flavor is “not bad” and tastes like strawberry Quik in a Kit Kat.
