Apart from the regular NPR roundup, we’ve had a hard time finding provocative, info-dense podcasts on food. Right now we’re enjoying some of the offerings from the Restaurant Guys. Are they the Click and Clack of the restaurant world? Not quite. But these two Jersey-based restaurateurs (they have a place called Stage Left in New Brunswick) have a wide variety of great guests on their show, which you can also get as a podcast. Drawback: They’re a bit dry. But you’re bound to find someone who interests you in the list of people they’ve spoken to, including British bad boy chef Marco Pierre White, and New Yorker writer Rebecca Mead talking about how wedding caterers gouge clients for the food.
