Thanksgiving Day Libations

The holidays are all about celebrating and there is no better way to do just that than with a great cocktail in hand. Here's a look at some of the best libations to get you in a festive mood.

Whether you are looking for a pre-holiday cocktail to get you started or are looking for a nightcap, Savîle Rumtini is the best way to begin or end a celebration. The tropical fruit flavors with a custom blend of rum make this ready-to-drink spirit the best holiday addition. The all-natural, gluten-free and non-GMO drink can be created by simply shaking and pouring over ice. It's as simple as that.

It's about time you put down the crisp whites and refreshing rosés, and turn your taste buds to something a little more robust like Smoke Tree's buttery Chardonnay. This might be the best way to break into the fall flavors. The white wine has scents of jasmine, elderflower, and toasty aromas while the taste includes hints of vanilla, lemon, Pippin apple, Asian pear and white stone fruit.

It's all about getting creative when it comes to the holidays. We recommend trying FACUNDO NEO Rum's Star of Autumn, which combines the tartness of apples and sweetness of maple syrup with the warmth of rum. the perfect addition to every Thanksgiving menu. Try this cocktail recipe at home:

• Ingredients:

o 1 ½ parts FACUNDO NEO

o 1 part Laird’s Applejack

o ¼ part Maple Syrup

o ¼ part lemon juice

o Apple wheel (Green or Granny Smith) for garnish

• Method: Shake all ingredients with plenty of ice. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a thin apple wedge or curled apple peel.

To celebrate the holiday in style, you have to do it with something extra special like this limited-edition Patrón Silver Tequila bottle inspired by Mexico’s rich heritage of art deco design. The bottle features a black and silver pewter label topped with a beautifully crafted cork in black and silver designed to mirror the art deco design of the label. As for the small batch tequila, think 100 percent Weber Blue Agave distilled and bottled at the Hacienda Patrón distillery in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.

Every woman needs a time out, especially when dinner is served and everyone is happy. Whether it is a before-dinner drink or an after-dinner time for much needed relaxation, there is nothing quite like a pour of pinot grigio. We love Selective Wine Estates that offers a fun take on life with the Mommy's Time Out Wine made from grapes grown in select regions of Italy. Try the Delicious Pink, Delicious Red, Pinot Grigio or Moscato because every mom deserves a break.

Another great wine is Nobilo collection of New Zealand wines, whcih includes a Pinot Noir as well as a Sauvignon Blanc. The Pinot Noir is the perfect wine to bring to dinner with family and friends offering tasty cherry and spice aromas while its medium body and soft tannins make it a food-friendly wine.
