2Cook bacon in saute pan, draining bacon fat as necessary to get a nice crunchy bacon. reseve fat for topping, Deglaze pan with 1/8 cup water..get up all the crunchy bits on the bottom and place in 9×13 pan with bacon
3In 9×13 inch baking dish, stir together macaroni, shredded cheddar cheese, bacon, leeks, cottage cheese, sour cream, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. In a small bowl, mix together bread crumbs and bacon fat. Sprinkle topping over macaroni mixture
