Ingredients (14)

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 brick extra firm tofu, squeeze out liquid, crumble
  • 2-3 T sesame seed oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 4 T. soy sauce
  • 1/2 - 1 t. minced ginger
  • 2 T. tahini
  • broccoli or asparagus
  • peas
  • carrots
  • sliced mushrooms
  • toasted sliced almonds for topping

My son, Paul, really likes this version!

Instructions

  1. 1Sprinkle tofu with onion powder. Fry in oil or prepare as stated below. When fried, add a little more oil and fry garlic to golden.

Add the fseasonings, then the vegetables. Top with sliced almonds. Serve with rice.
