- 1 bottle prego spaghetti sauce (reserve 1 cup for topping)
- 1 onion; chopped
- 1 bell pepper; chopped
- 1 can (14 ounces) Italian style diced tomatoes
- 1 cup oat meal
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
1In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients, except Mozzarella cheese, Reserving
1 cup for topping.
2Transfer to baking pan, and shape into loaf.
3Spread sauce on top. Place in oven and bake for 1 hour at 350 F.
4Sprinkle with the Mozzarella cheese and bake until melted.
5Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
