Ingredients (6)

  • 1 LB sea scallops
  • 1 T fresh thyme
  • 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 3 T olive oil
  • cracked pepper to taste
  • a pinch of salt

Grilled Scallops

With a few sprigs of fresh thyme, crushed garlic, peppercorn and a sprinkle of sea salt, these scallops are just simply delicious!

Instructions

  1. 1Line the scallops on kitchen towel to dry.
  2. 2Mix and Marinate with all the ingredients and let scallops sit.
  3. 3Brush them with olive oil over a hot grill or on a hot pan.
  4. 4Slap the scallops on a hot sizzling pan for a minute or so on each side.
  5. 5*I like to served with orzo and some sauté or grill seasonal vegetable…
  6. 6*Scallops should be fresh and not packed with water.
