Breakfast Fried Rice

Ingredients (6)

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 5 strips bacon, chopped
  • 3 eggs (also works with egg whites)
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 3 green onions, chopped finely
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

A little twist incorporating traditional breakfast ingredients and rice.


  1. 1Cook rice and set aside.
  2. 2In a large skillet cook the bacon over medium heat.
  3. 3Once the bacon has browned, drain half the oil and push the bacon to one side of the skillet.
  4. 4On the other half of the skillet, add the 3 eggs and scramble until cooked.
  5. 5Turn the heat down to low. Add the rice until all ingredients are mixed.
  6. 6Add the soy sauce evenly over the rice and mix until the rice takes on a light brown color.
  7. 7Add the chopped green onion.
  8. 8Salt and pepper to taste.
  9. 9Serve with hot sauce – either Sriracha or Frank’s Red Hot.
