Zurich - one or two nights September 2014?

Island Girl | Jun 30, 201412:28 PM     10

We are going to a wedding in Italy [Florence] at the end of September and our plan is to fly into Zurich and then drive through the Alps to Italy stopping 2-3 nights. I've done a search on this board but most information about Zurich is a little older and what I've investigated is no longer relevant. So, we arrive in the morning, jet-lagged but will try to keep going and explore the city. We can stay one or two nights although haven't booked a hotel so can't say where we will be in the city --- any recommendations for meals? Enough to warrant a second night in Zurich? We are fairly adventurous and don't mind spending for food/experience. Also, we are driving down through the Alps and wondering if anyone has restaurant recommendations along the way as our route is fairly open too. Thank you.
