Zeke's Donuts in Dupont

hamster | Mar 23, 2013 03:44 PM

I just tried out Zeke's this afternoon. It's on P Street, between 20th and 21st, in the old tangysweet space. (They also serve tangysweet yogurt.)

They had an interesting selection of around 6 flavors, all dough (not cake): one coffee, one salted caramel, one lemon curd, one mango, one triple chocolate-ish, one Mexican chocolate-ish, and the Ferrero Rocher which I had. Quite a knockout: large donut, filled with white chocolate and hazelnut cream, and a chocolate hazelnut glaze. Yowza. That's a quality donut.

I look forward to returning, as well as checking out the new donuts and fried chicken place that will soon be opening in the old Yola space.
