YVR - Breakfast and Walking to Granville

Sauro | May 12, 2005 05:49 PM

San Fran CH looking forward to enjoying the sights and delights of Vancouver in late June. I have picked West as my first dinner in town with the wife. But was wondering if it is easy/safe walk from Robson & Jervis to West? Of course crossing False Creek by Water Taxi. I would much rather explore the city on foot than by taxi, but if there are freeways or industrial zones btwn the False Creek and West, I would rather avoid those.

Also is the a good breakfast place in or very near to the Granville Public Market before we go whale watching?

Looking forward to the trip. Bishops, Hawkers Delight, Vij, Adesso, La Casa Gelato, Joe Fortes and Parkside all on the list. I hope to make all of them.

Also has anyone thoughts on O'douls Restaurant downtown?

Thanks and I will post my report when I get back.
