Yumeya - more reviews

Stuart, Thanks for the recommendations on Yume-ya. It's excellent.

Here's what we had:
Sashimi platter - NOT recommended
Fried eggplant in Dashi - delicate, light, delicious! (on the English menu)
Asparagus in Walnut Sauce - tasty sauce, al-dente asparagus. (on Japanese menu)
Mushroom stuffed with shrimp - We were amazed at how "freshly made" it tasted. Favorite of the evening. (on English menu)
Miso marinated BBQ pork - tender, slightly sweet, yummy. (on Japanese menu)
Mussels in buttered broth - this one is only okay as the flavoring is too light and the mussels are not fresh enough.
Yaki-onigiri (bbq rice ball) and miso soup - they are passable.
Mango pudding (on the house- i think they felt bad we had to wait for our food for so long)

We'd definetely go back again. BTW, the kitchen is very slow.
