Late one night there was a knock at my door. I answered it to see an Asian man in a windbreaker holding a collection of travel brochures-- "Beautiful Bangkok," "Thailand-- Land of Contrasts," etc.
"Good evening, sir," he said. "I am a travel agent and I thought you might be interested in these brochures of my beautiful homeland."
"At this hour of the night?" I said disbelievingly. "I'm sure we're not interested--"
"Please, sir, I think you will find this to be most vital information," he said, stressing the last two words and looking at me knowingly.
"Why yes, I've often thought of taking a vacation in Thailand," I said, taking the brochures from him and holding them carefully closed. "I will certainly look these brochures over. Thank you," I said, but by then he had already disappeared back into the night.
So here it is, the package that was delivered into my hands so mysteriously: the secret Thai-language menu from Yum Thai. If anyone reads Thai, feel free to offer suggestions on what the items are-- I will add English translations to the images as I receive them (if I receive any).
