Does anyone know a Thai restaurant in NYC that does this wonderful dish. Poached catfish is deepfried so it comes out like onion strings. It is topped, like all Thai yums, with a sour salad: in this case not ripe mango, nut , herbs, etc. So it is crunch on crunch. I spend the Winters in Thailand, so I know a good one when I taste it. So far, I haven't found it in Nyc. I think it is available in LA.
Anyone know anything?
