New Yorker looking for quintessential Vancouver cheap eats

FoulShotz | Dec 8, 201409:52 AM     18

I'm going to be in Vancouver for a few days on either side of Christmas - are there any signature or must-have cheap eats that I should have while I'm there (under 20 dollars a person) both including restaurants and other food stands or carts or anything? Any location within the city is fine, though I'll mostly be limited to public transportation on this trip.

Happy to be referred to any quintessential cheap eats threads BC hounds may know that I may have missed as well. Thanks.

(My brother and I are considering a side trip to Victoria, so any information on that appreciated as well.)
