New York Times Bacon Tasting

This odd little article from today's New York Times gave me a pre-coffee, pre-breakfast series of giggles.

It is about a "bacon-tasting" party where the participants wrote reviews of a series of different bacons, while drinking wine and beer. They were disallowed from using the words "smoky" and "salty" to describe the eleven different smoky and salty cured pork products, and for the most part, the creative verbiage flowed as easily as did the saturated fat.

Anyway, it is a fun read.
