New York Flip with Braeburn [syrup? juice?]

I had a killer New York flip at Death and Company. It's usually a drink I avoid because it often tastes like the port spoils the drink (almost in a literal sense, for me it really overwhelms it), but they made it with this braeburn apple juice or syrup or something that really toned down the heaviness of the port and I'd love to have the recipe to try to make it at home. It was so good. Unfortunately it was my second to last drink of the evening and I was already a bit sauced, so didn't get the full recipe then.

Anyone know?
