New York Burger Co. - review

Tried this new burger joint on Park Ave South and 23rd. I was hoping this would be really good, but it turned out to be a just OK.. I would be interested in hearing other people's experience there.

I ordered a cheeseburger with mushrooms and sauteed onions, plus fries and a soda. Granted, the fries are fresh idaho potatos cooked in soybean oil without the trans fat and cholestrol, but they were soggy and a bit limp. The burger was had a decent charred flavor, good bun, nice condiments. Tack on a Sprite and the total was $10.54, a bit on the expensive side for a takeout burger joint.

Perhaps I will go back and try their veggie burger and opt for the salad and water instead of fries and soda. I will report back, if I do.
