They have been importing and producing Eastern European specialties like kielbasa since the 1960s, and I am pleased to report that our latest buy there was terrific! We drove down winding Palmer Ave. to Lockwood where the shop is and it looked like very little had changed. We brought home a long Polish kielbasy, a jar of their extraordinary homemade horseradish, and a few servings of potato & cheese pierogi. Traditional delights. Dove into the kielbasy last night with some nice sides. So much more flavorful than the commercial brands I have tasted. Next time we'll bring home some of their mustard, too.
