Yolato Review (Edgewater)

Just wanted to write a quick note to let all of you frozen yogurt fans know that Yolato is here and it is pretty good.

It's located in a strip mall on River Rd, in a bright and shiny new store front with board games, free wireless, and plenty of seating.

I tasted a few of the yolato (low fat gelato) flavors, and was not that impressed. Their frozen yogurt, however, is great. It's called Yoggi, and it has a tangy yogurt flavor, similar to Pinkberry, but even more similar to the fro-yo they have at Bloomingdale's in Manhattan. A small cup is actually not that small, which is great because it costs almost $4.00. I had some mango on it, which was fresh, but not very sweet.

Anyway, it's a good place to chill for a couple of hours with a frozen treat, and I think I'll start frequenting Yolato, and spending less time at the chaotic, dirty Starbucks in Edgewater Commons. I recommend you give it a try next time you're in the area.
